What is SynergyTeamGolf™?
An Innovative Corporate Teambuilding Program
Using golf as a tool for education and the golf course as a learning environment, participants will achieve educational breakthroughs, expanding each individual’s self awareness and the team’s ability to relate, communicate and achieve results. All learning outcomes are geared toward improving team performance by breaking down barriers and teaching vital skills, while validating and enhancing their unique contributions to the team.
While each experience is personalized to address the specific needs of each client, we will teach:
- Action Planning
- Delegation by Strengths
- Creative Problem Solving
- Decision Making
- Emotional Intelligence
- Risk Taking
- Recovering from Set Backs
In other words, we address real world issues that mean success or failure regarding the growth and success of a company. But we will do so in an environment that is safe, engaging, and fun! This is not a “Golf Outing.” This is a learning experience that engages people’s emotions, skills, attitudes, desires, and determination.
“We cannot believe the impact that SynergyTeamGolf™ had on each of the staff members during the corporate teambuilding. Taking corporate education out of the classroom and on to the golf course not only made a powerful impact on the staff, but also speeded up and enhanced the self-awareness and learning process.” Carl J. Bleier, Senior Operations Manager, Coca-Cola Bottling Company

What’s unique about SynergyTeamGolf™ and why is it effective?
SynergyTeamGolf™ provides integrated corporate training, transferring knowledge through educational and experiential tasks on the golf course. Key program concepts are reinforced and highlighted through self-discovery and team learning allowing participants to internalize, practice and test new knowledge.
Do you have to be able to play golf to participate?
No. In fact, differences in skill levels simulate team situations in corporations where experience and skill levels differ. Maximum: 1 non-golfer per team.
What happens if it rains?
Play will happen, or continue, during intermittent showers. Play will happen in light rain showers. Steady downpours or storms will require the event to be rescheduled. Keep in mind, some days are bright and sunny at work, some days it rains.
How many participants will SynergyTeamGolf™ accommodate?
Minimum: 6; Maximum 144
I just wanted to take a few minutes to express my sincere thanks for the SynergyTeamGolf™ event you facilitated on August 16th for the Mid-South Zone. The event itself was clearly an innovative method to introduce the concept of EQ (Emotional Intelligence). Instead of spending 4-5 hours in your basic meeting room, we were able to spend the day outside, on the golf course enjoying a beautiful day. No doubt this contributed to the day’s overall success.
The work and preparation you did prior to the event was very helpful and appreciated. You did a nice job with the “Task Cards” for each hole and the pre / post EQ Test. These test results will provide me with a good starting point for each individual’s development areas. I also thought your presentation to the group was solid in terms of reassuring them that not only do they already practice EQ, but that this day would enhance it significantly. Finally, when you look at the testimonials we received from the team, both before dinner and in the email communication, it’s clear to me that your program had a positive impact with all who participated.
Moving forward, I am very pleased to have another data point to help in maximizing the development plans for my team. By gaining an initial understanding of EQ, I feel confident that their efficiencies as it relates to self awareness will be realized. Thanks again for a great event and I look forward to other innovative ways we can take this to the next level.

We cannot believe the impact that SynergyTeamGolf™ had on each of the staff members during the corporate teambuilding outing. Taking corporate education out of the classroom and on to the golf course not only made a powerful impact on the staff, but also speeded up and enhanced the self-awareness and learning process.
You have developed a wonderful corporate educational event! As far as corporate education goes, it was the wisest investment our company has made educationally for teambuilding and it’s value cannot be measured in terms of dollars.
We appreciate how easy it was to work with you from our first encounter through the SynergyTeamGolf™ outing, and look forward to your continued involvement. You seem to understand what we were looking for, or hoping to achieve, and at the same time responded insightfully to peoples in the moment comments and concerns.
The full potential of the event was realized when we gathered during the actual SynergyTeamGolf™ round on the 6th hole. The insights and awareness gained by each participant as well as “our team” on that Friday continues to impact us constructively and has synergized our company’s efforts. Our team has been enhanced and continues to profit from your program.
Joe, you have a corporate teambuilding program that is incredibly innovative. We are looking forward to our continued work with you and SynergyTeamGolf™.

I wanted to let you know how much our entire staff enjoyed the day we spent with you. Going into the day, most of us thought that it would just be a fun day out of the office. However, with your opening comments and then the meeting that followed the golf, we found that we were learning more about each other and ourselves than we thought. Even the staff that had never touched a golf club enjoyed the experience and took away from it the lessons learned.
Our key learnings from the day were, valuing each person’s contribution, planning ahead and sticking to the plan, communicating makes things easier, encouraging others, and appreciating each person’s attitudes and aptitudes.
Thanks again for a great day. We wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, perhaps on a cooler day though!
